The waterproof TYPE-C female socket connector is currently the most widely used data transmission and exchange interface. With its good compatibility and transmission stability, it has firmly occupied the position of the data transmission interface of digital electronic devices. The TYPE-C female connector is also the new generation of data interface standard for USB female connectors on mobile devices. It belongs to the USB3.1 protocol standard launched in recent years and will be the main USB connector in the future.
When using a waterproof TYPE-C female socket, do not touch the socket interface with your hand or insert metal objects into the live socket of the TYPE-C female socket interface to avoid electric shock and other dangerous accidents. Therefore, after each use of the TYPE-C female socket, pay attention to covering the protective cover of the USB socket. This can prevent excessive dust from entering and also has a certain moisture-proof effect.
Do not use the TYPE-C socket for a long time in a high-temperature environment, because when the operating temperature is too high, the electrical load of the TYPE-C socket will exceed the limit and cannot be withstood, resulting in a fire and short circuit. Therefore, when using the socket for a long time, it is generally necessary to stop the equipment and rest, and then continue to use the TYPE-C female socket after the operating temperature drops, to avoid and reduce the occurrence of this situation.
When the USB socket has a short circuit fault and cannot be used, do not check the circuit while the USB socket is powered on. Because when the USB socket malfunctions, the circuit is in an overloaded, high-temperature, and short-circuited state. If the power is turned on again, it will cause other circuits to malfunction, and in severe cases, it may directly burn out the socket. Therefore, when a TYPE-C socket malfunctions, the power switch should be turned off immediately, so that professional instruments can be used for troubleshooting.
In the connection of the waterproof TYPE-C female socket plug, be careful not to let small debris enter the interface, otherwise it will easily cause poor contact between the USB socket and the USB plug, resulting in some unrecognizable induction situations. Moreover, after long-term use of the USB socket, pay attention to cleaning the dust in the interface to prevent excessive dust from causing the components of the socket interface to rust easily, thereby affecting the performance of the TYPE-C female socket.
The waterproof TYPE-C female socket adopts an integrated injection molding process, not the traditional plug-in assembly. Using this process can make the connection of the product more stable when the TYPE-C male and female connectors are connected. From the product appearance size, the interface body length of this simple 6P-TYPEC female socket is 6.85mm, the pin spacing is 1.0mm, and the length of the four pins fixed to the PCB board by welding is 1.1mm (short pin type). When the product male and female connectors are connected, the effective insertion depth is 4.8mm.
When installing the waterproof TYPE-C female socket, be careful not to bundle the connected power lines together at various connection points of the socket, otherwise it is easy to cause the working circuit to fail to dissipate heat and directly burn out the socket. Therefore, when installing and wiring the USB socket, a certain distance should be left between the wiring points to facilitate heat dissipation of the circuit.
