  1. Push-button switch function. A button is a control switch operated by a part of the human body (usually a finger or palm), and spring energy storage reset. It is one of the commonly used main command devices. Generally speaking, push-button switches do not directly control the on and off of the main circuit (high-current circuit). The current allowed by its contacts generally does not exceed 5A, so they are basically used in the control circuit (low-current circuit) to send instruction signals to control contactors, relays, and other electrical appliances, and then they control the on and off, function switching, or electrical interlocking of the main circuit.

  2. Push-button switch structural principle and symbol. Usually, a push-button switch consists of button cap, static contact, bridge-type dynamic contact, reset spring, support connecting rod, and shell. When button not subjected to external force (i.e., static), the on-off state of the contact can be divided into start button (i.e., make contact button ), stop button (i.e., break contact button ) and composite button (i.e., make and break contacts combined into one button )。

For example, buttons embedded in the operating panel can be opened; select the cursor type to display the working status; key operation should be used in important occasions to prevent personnel misoperation; corrosion-resistant type should be used in places with corrosive gases. 2. Select the color according to the working status indication and working requirements. For example, start button can be white, gray, or black, preferably white or green; emergency stop button should be red; stop button can be black, gray, or white, preferably black or red. 3.
